Sora's Witch Hat & Broom

It's time to decorate for Halloween!

I crocheted a witch hat and a broom for Sora-A-mon.

The only problem Sora's having with this hat is its weight.  Combined with the large head of his, it's hard to balance the weight and sit him down.

R2: *sc2, increase next sc, *repeat (8)
R3-24: Sc around (8)
Cut off the yarn leaving a 3-inch end.  Fasten off.
Insert a fat plastic straw inside the tube.  cut off excess straw.
Wrap yarn on a palm 20 times.  Cut off the yarn leaving a 10-inch end.
Wrap long end of the yarn several times to bind the stack.  Leave at least 5 inches to sew with.

Using a knitting needle, stitch around open end of the tube to the bound side of the stacked piece.
Cut the stack of yarn at the opposite side of binding.  Make sure that the length on both sides are even.
